Saturday December 8th marks the return of Bemmy institution… the Winter Lantern Parade.

The streets of Bedminster will once again be lit up by hundreds of colourful creations and filled with fantastic music as the annual Winter Lantern Parade takes place.

Dozens of local primary schools have been hard at work preparing their lanterns for the big day, when the children will walk alongside community organisations and local bands to create a wonderful riot of noise and colour through the streets.

Setting off from North Street from 4pm the procession moves up to Cannon Street, onto British Road before finishing up at South Street.

This is a true BS3 tradition so dust of those winter hats and coats and get out and support this amazing event!
