What's on this March in Bedminster!


It seems like we were counting down the New Year last weekend and here we are in March!

As we roll on into spring, and the days get longer here’s what’s at the top of our list for this month; amazing live music, creative workshops and interactive theatre performances are all on the bill and we couldn’t be more excited!


Fused Glass Workshop @ Creative Space Bristol

Saturday 9th March, 2-3:30pm or 3:45-5:15pm

Design & create a Bristol balloon fused glass suncatcher at this fun 1.5hr workshop. Suited for adults and children over 10.

Zero green one year anniversary @ Zero Green Bristol

9-10 March, all-day

Come celebrate one year of Zero Green Bristol on North Street! The zero waste shop will be unveiling a new look and celebrating all weekend long, including cake, of course!

A Play in a Day: A midsummer night’s Dream (8-11yo, 12-16yo) @ Tobacco Factory Theatres

Sunday 17th March, 9:30-4:30 (8-11yo) and 9:30-5:30 (12-16yo)

Kids will work as an ensemble and devise, direct and create a short performance that will be shared with family and friends and the end of the day. No previous experience required!


 Stephen Hawking: His Life, Work & Legacy @ Hen and Chicken

Tuesday 19th March, 7-9pm, £12

Join award-winning author and science journalist Dr. Stuart Clark for a look into the life and work of one of the most recognisable scientists of all time.

Blood and Butchery in Bedminster @ Show of Strength Theatre Company

Tuesdays at 7-9pm, £10 + buy your own drinks

This walking theatre production will take you through Bedminster and into a few pubs along the way as you hear the fascinating tales each one has to tell including the gruesome fate of John Horwood: the man eaten by a lion and Bedminster’s own Romeo and Juliet.


 Swindle Live @ Fiddlers

Thursday 21st March, 8pm, £13.08
