Part Time Role - Bedminster Business Engagement

Bedminster Business Improvement District (BID - see bedminster.org.uk/business) has a part-time job opportunity. 

A reliable, self-motivated and trustworthy person is sought who can prioritise and work with little supervision, has a knowledge and understanding of retailing and a passion for Bedminster's retail streets.

Responsibilities

  • Co-writing, and editing the bi-monthly digital newsletter including distributing via the Mailchimp software

  • Updating the business page of the bedminster.org.uk as required occasionally

  • Liaising with businesses especially on North Street regarding BID activities and projects

  • Running BID projects and generating ideas for future projects

  • Anything else that serves BID objectives

Experience

  • Good communication, organisational, IT and interpersonal abilities

  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software and able to pick up other web software

  • Some experience in small event management would be useful but not essential

  • Must be able to commit to 1-2 days per week between now and the end November 2023
