#BemmyLanterns are Back!

The majestic Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade returns on Saturday 8th of December and promises to be the most spectacular yet.

Thanks to a hugely successful crowdfunding campaign throughout the summer, as well as constant ongoing support from local businesses and the BID, enough funds were raised to give the go-ahead for this much loved project.

Nine local primary scholls and a host of local community groups have been hard at work building colourful lanterns of all sizes and on Saturday 8th December they’ll have their grand unveiling.

As is tradition with the Winter Lantern Parade, the procession starts at 4pm at St Francis Church on North Street, before winding up to Cannon Street, across to British Road and finally into South Street.

The parade route will be closed to Traffic from 3pm - 6pm and traffic, including some bus services will be diverted away from North Street, Dean Lane, Cannon St, British Road and South Street for the duration of the event.
