Not only is this one of Bemmie’s finest pubs, but it’s also the home of comedy nights, pub quizzes and live music. This September, The Hen and Chicken has a jam-packed schedule of events for you to enjoy with a pint in hand.

Stand Up For The Weekend is taking place on September 24th with Neil Delamere, one of the most in-demand comedians on Irish TV, who is most well known in the UK for his appearance in Michael MacIntyre’s first series of his Comedy Roadshow on Comedy Central. Prepare to belly-laugh the night away with your favourite pint in hand!

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, Pedal Mania by John-Paul Gard will be taking over the Hen & Chicken for a night of jazz music which is bound to get you on your feet and dancing!

As the days are getting colder, we’re all heading back inside to warm up on hot chocolate and seasonal lattes. Bedminster probably has the best coffee shops in Bristol, all proudly independent and bursting with individuality. From East Street, West Street and all the way down North Street, there’s so many to choose from.

Make sure to welcome back Cafe Sazz to Bedminster, as they’ve recently returned to the area on North Street!
