Get your Vegan fix in BS3

Whether you’re a fully fledged vegan and taking part in Veganuary, Bedminster has got it all. We've been exploring some of the best plant-based gems that are full of flavour and guaranteed to satisfy those cravings. Whether you’re a local looking for somewhere to grab a bite, or heading south of the river on a mission to find a new foodie hotspot, check out some of the vegan hotspots in the area.

Vx

If you’ve not been to Vx on East Street… Where have you been? Indulge in some vegan junk food from the UK’s first chain of cruelty-free shops in the country. Bringing their unique full junk food menu, Vx is the place to be for any sweet-tooth. Think donut stacked monster shakes, ice cream floats and their signature peanut butter latte… dreamy!

Lunch Box

A perfect stop on your lunch break, Lunch Box offers a range of salad bowl options and burritos. Created to bring wholesome, good quality food to Bedminster, the business was started by two brothers who wanted a healthier option on the highstreet.

Mezzaluna

For the classic taste of Italy, Mezzaluna offers up a vegan pizza to satisfy your cravings. Offering a great variety of Italian dishes as well as other amazing tastes from all over the world with their own twists, Mezzaluna has delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner menus available every day, ready to transport you away from daily life, to give you a taste of Italy.

The Lounge

Looking to kick start your day the right way? Do it with a vegan breakfast from Lounge, located on North Street. This local spot has more than enough to get you buzzing this January, from a light brekky of smashed avocado on toast to a full-monty vegan cooked breakfast.

The Toast Room

Made specifically for Veganuary, The Toast Room has delivered the ultimate vegan sourdough toastie. The Mumbai Toastie packs a punch with garam masala spiced onions, fresh salad, green chilli chutney and dairy free mozzarella and even has sauteed potatoes and salad on the side. Plenty of their other dishes can come vegan, so make sure to ask.

East St. Deli

Offering up local essentials and lunches, head down East St. Deli for sandwiches, salads, wraps and cakes. Our favourite is their vegan cheese with green pesto and chargrilled peppers panini, guaranteed to chase away the cold this January.

These are just a few of the vegan spots to look for next time you are feeling peckish in Bedminster, so treat yourself this Veganuary by visiting.
